![]() Oh well, I'll figure out without having to re-install Windows. It seems like the Synaptics gestures are fighting with the Windows Precision gestures, because in doing this exercise I've figured out I had these gestures all along with my standard drivers. So I went back to a driver from the Lenovo support page, and it seems I still have the "Your PC has a precision touchpad", it's a little less sloppy, but still sloppy. I would not describe it with the word "precision". It was just sloppy and jumpy, which was a frustrating experience. Except the mouse moved around like it was a little drunk. There were lots of extra settings and it was all groovy. Alternate driver installed fine, updated the driver and suddenly under "Mouse" in settings it said, "Your PC has a precision touchpad". I have a Lenovo P50, and it worked like a charm. Apologise for the essay but I thought I'd give as much info as possible. If there is any other information I can provide please let me know. Also if anyone else has had a similar experience. I would just like some insight as to why I seem to have the worse drivers installed even though this device is supposed to be shipped with the apparently better ones from Windows. When I check the device manager I see this as the driver currently installed (Synaptics PrecisionTouchpad Filter Driver). I have been hearing tales of how great the windows precision touchpad is so I was a bit disappointed. Now when I opened the laptop I noticed that the touch pad was a bit wierd and glitchy. Also the bezils are way slimmer than the older one. Reasons I do not think that is the case is because the model number seems to match with the newest that HP is selling on their website (HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-aw0xxx). As far as I can tell this is the newest version, if it is not I would love to know as much. My question is rather why this laptop does not seem to have it pre installed. ![]() Before I get started this is not a how to, I have already found a couple posts on how to install Windows precision drivers on the x360. ![]()
